I like to give things time to settle before I commit to these things.
1. Inside Out
–Sadness is my new hero. “That’s a bad idea don’t go in there.” This is always good advice.
2. Ex Machina
–Oscar Issac can do anything. And his dance scene is better than any scene in any movie ever. Except maybe the scenes with lightsabers.
3. The Force Awakens
–You’re afraid. You’re afraid you’ll never be as strong as Darth Vader. Way to go Mary Sue, you’re awesome.
4. The Peanuts Movie
–I do not feel better when I’m dancing. But I do feel better when Charlie Brown in around.
5. Jupiter Ascending
Sure a lone dog hybrid in search of a pack falling in love with the reincarnated queen of Earth who happens to be ignorant of her birthright may sound far fetched and silly. But his levitating sky boots make up for all that.
